What are you going to do?
As an Albert Heijn delivery driver, you will have plenty of freedom and responsibility. You will independently drive a planned route and make sure customers receive their groceries on time and with a smile.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collecting your scanner and route information from the service desk. - Checking and scanning the crates and safely loading the delivery van. - Delivering groceries to customers’ homes or offices at the correct temperature and on time. - Collecting empty crates, packaging materials and returned items. - Processing payments when required and answering customer questions. - Checking customers’ ages when delivering products covered by the NIX18 age restriction. - Recording relevant information or complaints in the app. - Unloading and tidying the van after your route and discussing any issues with your supervisor. - Occasionally helping to train new colleagues once you have gained enough experience.
This is an active job: you will spend plenty of time on the road and regularly lift crates. In return, you will work independently, drive a different route each day and meet a wide variety of customers.
What do we offer?
- An indicative all-in wage of €20.17 gross per hour from age 21, including holiday pay and allowances. - A flexible part-time job of between 6 and 32 hours per week. - The opportunity to submit your own availability. - A commuting allowance for distances of up to 45 kilometres from your work location. - A good pension scheme with a 6.2% employee contribution. - A golden Bonus Card offering a 10% discount on your groceries, up to €300 per year. - Albert Heijn Deals with discounts on major brands, theme parks, sports and gaming. - A clear onboarding programme during which you will join an experienced buddy for your first three working days. - An independent and varied role with plenty of customer contact and responsibility.
Where will you work?
