Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in Louisville, KY. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting, delivering, and picking up medical equipment and beds to and from hospital and healthcare facilities, following established routes and schedules. Daily tasks include loading and unloading equipment, verifying delivery documentation, performing basic equipment checks, and ensuring items are clean, secure, and ready for patient use.

The role involves interacting with hospital staff, answering basic product and delivery questions, and providing courteous, timely service that aligns with USME’s customer service standards. The Delivery Driver also supports warehouse operations as needed, follows all safety and regulatory guidelines, and maintains accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with hospital staff and provide responsive, courteous support.
  • Experience with Forklift Operation or similar material-handling equipment for safe loading, unloading, and warehouse tasks.
  • Training experience or willingness to learn and follow equipment handling, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Exposure to Sales or cross-functional roles (e.G., Food & Beverage) that demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
  • Ability to lift, move, and maneuver heavy equipment and beds, and work on feet for extended periods.
  • Reliable time management, basic documentation skills, and comfort using mobile devices or routing software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    prior delivery, logistics, or healthcare-related experience is beneficial.
