Pipeline & Construction Supplies Limited is an independent stockholder with 46 years of experience in the industry and is based in Marchwood. We are a well-established and growing business with a strong reputation for supplying quality products and excellent service to our customers.
We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our busy and friendly team.
This is a dual-role position, requiring the successful candidate to work across both delivery and warehouse operations, depending on the needs of the branch.
Previous experience in a similar role or within the construction supplies industry would be advantageous, but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Driver
- Accurately pick, pack and load products onto company vehicles in accordance with company procedures.
- Deliver customer orders safely and efficiently using 3.5-tonne and 7.5-tonne vehicles.
- Unload and deliver goods in accordance with customer requirements and site instructions.
- Obtain and record delivery confirmations from customers.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a professional and courteous manner.
- Comply with all relevant road, transport and health and safety regulations.
Warehouse Operative
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are checked before loading.
- Load delivery vehicles safely and securely.
- Receive, check and put away supplier deliveries.
- Assist with regular stock checks and rolling stocktakes, ensuring stock is accurately recorded and correctly located.
- Maintain an organised, clean and safe warehouse and yard environment.
- Assist colleagues with general warehouse duties as required.
- Follow company procedures relating to stock control, manual handling and health and safety.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Good timekeeping and reliability.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work safely and responsibly at all times.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Forklift licence – preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per annum, depending on experience.
