Job Description
EOSS Foods is seeking an experienced delivery driver based in Carrum Downs to deliver premium traditional Greek yoghurts, dips, frozen berries, coulis and desserts around the Melbourne Metro area in our company's fleet (light trucks). This is a casual position offering regular hours over 3-4 days per week (Tuesday-Friday, and rarely occasional Mondays with notice). The role requires early morning starts and a responsible, reliable approach to delivering EOSS products to customers while representing our company in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
Key responsibilities
- Arrive at the depot in the mornings, pack your truck with goods safely and ensure all stock is accounted for
- Prepare your day's runs in a logical and demographical sequence to ensure efficiencies for you and our customers
- Deliver stock to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Manually log your day's run by customer, times of arrival/departure, vehicle temperatures etc
- Organise and pick stock
- Load and unload stock
- Upon return to the depot, report back with paperwork, feed back any issues and ensure truck is empty and clean for the following day
About you
- Be physically fit to perform repetitive manual handling and lifting (up to 10kg at a time)
- Show a good understanding of OH&S
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have a current and clean record driver's licence
- MR and forklift licence/s advantageous
- Show clear written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude
- Problem solving and adapt to change
- Be able to work unsupervised, but not afraid to ask for help
- Be eligible to work in Australia
