The Opportunity

As our Dealership Accountant, you'll work closely with our finance team and dealership managers, helping keep the numbers accurate, the reporting on track and the business moving.

You'll be involved in:

• Monthly dealership accounts and financial reporting

• Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations

• Bank, floorplan and manufacturer reconciliations

• Vehicle deal accounting and deal processing

• Month-end and year-end processes

• BAS and statutory reporting support

• Reviewing debtors, creditors and outstanding transactions

• Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies

• Supporting dealership managers with financial information

• Helping improve processes and financial controls across the business

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who knows dealership accounting and can confidently step into the role.

You'll ideally bring:

• Minimum 2 years' accounting experience within an automotive dealership – essential

• Strong knowledge of dealership accounting processes

• Experience with month-end reporting and reconciliations

• Strong Excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• The ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities

• A practical, solutions-focused approach

• Great communication skills and the confidence to work with managers across the business

• Experience with automotive dealer management systems will be highly regarded
