Datacenter Technical Marketing Sr. Lead

Job Descriptions

● Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of technical marketing managers focused on custom ASIC programs for datacenter applications.

● Define and drive MediaTek’s technical marketing and go-to-market strategy, aligning with business objectives, industry roadmaps, and customer requirements.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers within tier-1 hyperscalers to secure new business and grow existing engagements.

● Guide technical positioning, value proposition development, messaging, and competitive differentiation for MediaTek’s data center and cloud infrastructure offerings (SerDes, D2D, interconnect, XPUs, switch, packaging, etc.).

● Direct early-stage technical engagement processes (e.g., RFI/RFQ), overseeing technical due diligence, market analysis, and technology advocacy to maximize win rates and influence customer decisions.

● Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Global Marketing, and Corporate Sales teams to ensure seamless technical and commercial execution.

● Drive customer relationship building at technical and executive levels, establishing MediaTek as a trusted technology leader and partner.

● Represent MediaTek as a technical thought leader at industry events, high-level customer engagements, forums, and standards bodies.

Qualifications

● Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

● 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor/data center industry, with a strong emphasis on custom ASIC, advanced silicon technologies, and technical marketing or product leadership.

● Demonstrated success in building, leading, and scaling highly technical teams in datacenter ASIC programs, with a strong record of technical and strategic customer engagement, design win influence, and market impact.

● Deep technical expertise in ASIC architecture and technologies for datacenter/cloud, including but not limited to high-speed SerDes, D2D, advanced packaging (integrated modules, chiplets), interconnect protocols, XPU (CPU/GPU/AI accelerator) integration, switch silicon and system-level design.

● Solid understanding of the full silicon and product development lifecycle for custom and standard datacenter ASICs, from architecture/design to deployment and support.

● Proven experience developing and executing successful technology-driven go-to-market strategies, positioning advanced ASIC technologies, and influencing ecosystem standards.

● Exceptional communication, technical storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver complex technical concepts clearly to both senior engineering and executive-level audiences.

● Established credibility and relationships with technical and business leaders (VP/director/principal engineer) at top US and global Tier 1 cloud/data center operators.

● Demonstrated history of active industry involvement (standards groups, conference presentations, consortiums) as a technology leader and innovator.

● Willingness and ability to travel frequently for executive and technical customer meetings, industry events, and internal strategic sessions.
