Datacenter Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operational management of multiple data centre facilities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers while overseeing specialist contractors.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency response activities.
• Ensure customer SLAs, operational compliance, and health & safety standards are consistently achieved.
• Drive operational improvements, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and PUE performance.
• Manage CMMS systems, maintenance schedules, and change management processes.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansions, and critical maintenance projects.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience within data centre operations or critical facilities.
• Previous experience managing engineering or field service teams.
• Strong knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, HV/LV systems, CRAC units, and fire/life safety systems.
• Experience with CMMS, maintenance planning, contractor management, and change management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer-focused, mission‑critical environment.
