Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Database Engineer 3 - Contingent to join their team. As a Database Engineer 3 - Contingent, you will be part of the Database Management Operations supporting critical database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Database Engineer 3 - Contingent Location: Phoenix, AZ What’s the Job? Lead and participate in database management activities including designing highly complex MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB databases. Lead highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts for supported databases.
Perform planning, research, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of server-class databases. Design and implement security solutions including industry benchmarks and auditing practices. Develop management policies, procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure optimal database performance and security.
What’s Needed? 4+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education. Proficiency with MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB technologies. Experience with automation, scripting, and AI integration is preferred.
Strong understanding of database security, high availability, and replication solutions. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence strategic direction within a team environment. What’s in it for me?
