Database Developer

Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA Experience: 4–5 years (relevant experience required) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to design, optimize, and manage high-performance database systems supporting our SMS and Voice Firewall solutions. The role focuses on enabling efficient message processing, fraud detection, and advanced analytics through scalable, secure, and highly available data architectures. Key Responsibilities ●Design, develop, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases for high-volume telecom traffic processing. ●Develop and maintain stored procedures, indexing strategies, and partitioning schemes to enhance database performance. ● Implement high availability solutions including replication, clustering, and robust backup and recovery mechanisms. ● Ensure data security through encryption, access controls, and compliance with telecom and regulatory standards. ● Collaborate with data engineering teams to support ETL pipelines for large-scale SMS and voice traffic data processing. ● Monitor and tune database performance to ensure reliability, scalability, and low latency.

Required Skills & Competencies ● Strong experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis. ● Expertise in SQL optimization, including query tuning, indexing, and stored procedure development. ● Familiarity with big data and ETL frameworks such as Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, and Airflow. ● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, SQL, and Shell scripting for automation and data processing. ● Solid understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and high availability design patterns. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience with cloud-based database services such as AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, or Microsoft Azure Database services. ● Exposure to real-time data analytics and AI-driven fraud detection systems. ●Relevant certifications in database technologies (e.g., MySQL DBA, PostgreSQL, Oracle Certified Professional).
