Job Description
Responsible for managing a large-scale Db2 on z/OS platform along with Aurora PostgreSQL and Aerospike on AWS.

As part of this role, the DBA will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environment
- Providing Application Database and Data Migration support for an established cloud-based database infrastructure
- SQL tuning and performance optimization on both Db2 and PostgreSQL
- Database maintenance and utilities management
- Providing 12x7 on-call support
- Database Engineering
The Skills That Are Key to This Role
- Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large, complex database environment
- Extensive experience in SQL, JCL, and COBOL
- Experience with QREP and IIDR replication products
Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of DB2 LUW on Linux/UNIX
- Experience with CA Platinum tools
- Expertise in distributed technologies such as Linux, VSCode, Git, and Jenkins, including AWS-based Aurora PostgreSQL
- Expertise in AWS concepts and services such as:
- IAM
- SSO
- KMS/CMK
- PostgreSQL
- PHZ
- VPC
- Route 53
- RDS
- RDS Proxy
- Lambda
