Team description:
The Cybersecurity team is a strategic function within TME’s IT & Digital division, supporting the transformation of Toyota’s European IT operations. The team plays a critical role in building resilient security frameworks, managing cyber risks, and fostering a proactive security culture across digital assets and operations. Its mission is to protect Toyota’s information assets, support regulatory compliance, and enable secure, responsible innovation across the organisation.
Role Summary:
The Data Security Advisor helps safeguard organisational data by providing guidance on data protection, security architecture, and regulatory compliance, while enabling secure and responsible business innovation. The role combines technical expertise with strategic advisory skills to help embed data security throughout the data lifecycle, from creation and processing to storage and disposal. Working closely with IT, business teams, data professionals, and compliance stakeholders, the advisor supports risk identification, strengthens security practices, and helps ensure alignment with frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
The Data Security Advisor actively promotes an inclusive and ethical security culture by considering diverse perspectives, ensuring equitable access to secure systems, and supporting solutions that are fair, transparent, and respectful of user privacy and societal impact.

What we can offer you:
- Depending on the candidate’s skills and experience, the base salary for this position will be in the range of PLN 18 000– 25 000 gross per month under a permanent employment contract (employment contract/UoP).

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in data protection, security advisory, or risk management, ideally within complex enterprise environments.
Core Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of data protection principles and controls, including encryption, access management, secure data architecture, and cloud security.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and security frameworks, including GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and related data protection standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risks and recommend practical, risk-based solutions.
Communication and Collaboration Skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to a range of audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Commitment to respectful, inclusive ways of working that value diverse perspectives and support psychological safety.
Desirable Skills
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex or high-pressure situations.

Certifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are welcome and considered an advantage.
