Data Engineer

What is the opportunity? The Next Best Action (NBA) Data Engineering team is seeking a passionate and seasoned data engineer to design, implement and support large‑scale data processing automated solutions. We are looking for a strategic thinker and complex problem solver who excels in a demanding fast‑paced environment.

What will you do? Design and build efficient and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines with automated data quality controls to detect errors and anomalies. Work in an agile team of data engineers, developers and business stakeholders.

Collaborate and be a platform subject‑matter expert with data scientists, process engineers and business stakeholders on requirements gathering. Develop efficient scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats. Support the project team to scale, monitor and operate data platforms for very high availability and performance.

What do you need to succeed? Must‑have 4+ years of experience with Python, Apache Spark, Airflow, Hadoop, large‑scale databases and data processing, Unix scripting, SQL, RDBMS. Experience designing and developing large‑scale data pipelines, working with Airflow, Helios, GitHub.

Education in software engineering, computer science or related background. Strong data analysis and understanding of statistical methodology. Strong interpersonal, relationship‑building and influencing skills.

Passion for learning new technologies and ability to collaborate with partners. Nice to have Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of machine learning and AI fundamentals.

Experience in CI/CD development environment. Test and learn methodology. What’s in it for you?
