Data Engineer

Data Engineer – London or Edinburgh (Hybrid) We are looking for experienced Data Engineers to join a major banking transformation programme, building scalable cloud-based data platforms and pipelines that support critical business and analytics functions. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and consumption pipelines Develop ETL/ELT solutions using AWS-native services Implement batch and real-time data processing using Kafka and event-driven architectures Integrate data from multiple sources including Snowflake, S3, MongoDB, and DynamoDB Ensure data quality, security, scalability, and performance across platforms Contribute to DataOps practices, CI/CD automation, and platform optimisation Required Skills: Strong experience delivering data engineering solutions on AWS Expertise in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline orchestration Advanced Python and SQL skills; Spark experience desirable Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, S3, Kafka, and Snowflake Knowledge of DataOps, CI/CD, and distributed data systems Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments, ideally financial services For more information and direct contact with me, please send me an email and call only if required.
