Data Engineer

Location: Toronto 4 days a week on site not negotiable JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support our data driven initiatives You will work with databases such as MongoDB IBM DB2 and MSSQL to manage and query data efficiently You will be expected to write clean maintainable and efficient Python code participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing Proficiency in Kafka and experience with streaming data platforms are essential for this position Responsibilities Design build and maintain robust data pipelines Manage and query data using MongoDB IBM DB2 and MSSQL Write high quality maintainable Python code Participate in code reviews and share best practices with the team Work with Kafka and streaming data technologies to enable real time data processing Qualifications Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data engineering Hands on experience with MongoDB IBM DB2 and MSSQL Solid understanding of Kafka and streaming data architectures Commitment to writing clean efficient and well documented code Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach #J-18808-Ljbffr
