This is a mandatory onsite role based in Bedford, Nova Scotia, requiring attendance in the office 4 days per week. Resumes will be rejected if the candidate is unable to meet this onsite requirement. Job Description About the Team The Data Controls team within the Core Data Services function consists of 10 team members across the US and Halifax. It is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where team members are highly collaborative and supportive. Key Responsibilities A typical day in this role includes: Data profiling and analysis DQ rule design User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Participating in program meetings Liaising with technology teams Troubleshooting issues Partnering with data consumers Required Technical Skills The selected candidate will be expected to work with the following technologies and tools: SQL Python Microsoft Excel Query Design JIRA Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Skills: Data Controls Query Design Microsoft Excel Data Profiling Pattern Recognition SQL Data Analysis Root Cause Analysis Management Reporting Problem Solving Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-Have Skills: R Programming Education: Master's Degree Soft Skills Strong verbal and written communication Excellent time management Curious and investigative mindset Ability to understand complex information and simplify it for different audiences The expected base salary range for this position is $49 โ€“ $60 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
