Experience implementing civil/structural engineering principles (e.g., grading and drainage, hydraulic modeling, sediment control, erosion control, or soil migration). Preferred qualifications Master's degree in Chartered, Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Experience working in a collaborative team environment and communicating technical issues in written and verbal forms (e.g., online collaboration and presentations).
Knowledge of site layout, grading, drainage, road, and infrastructure layouts. Knowledge of water/wastewater design, hydraulic modeling, and Industry Construction means and methods. About the job Our thirst for technology is a part of everything we do.
The Data Center Engineering team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. Our lab mirrors a research and development department -- cutting‑edge strategies are born, tested and tested again. Along with a team of great minds, you take on complex topics like how we use power or how to run state‑of‑the‑art, environmentally‑friendly facilities.
You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements -- even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior‑level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians. With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).
In this role, you will lead the development and review of program civil drawings and data center civil plans, including typical utility plans and coordination with consultant teams. You will develop and implement a comprehensive program construction schedule for civil works, support improvements to civil and geotechnical design standards, and contribute to the development of program products. Additionally, you will also possess general knowledge of and experience working with cross-discipline teams, including Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Telecoms and Networking, and Utilities.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $122,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities Define data center system‑level, product architecture, and Research and Development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes. Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
