Job Description: As a Support Analyst, you will work with a group of talented individuals and accountants in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment to support finance technology solutions. The Application Support team’s mandate is to provide excellent support to our users while also identifying opportunities via process changes, training, bug fixes or enhancements to reduce the overall support load. The Application Support team scales and provides coverage by ensuring that every member of the team is trained to support other applications and business across the firm.

You will be working with (Finance Professionals, Product Owners) and getting insights into how applications are developed, deployed, and supported. You will be expected to provide support for financial applications that assist in valuation cycles, quarterly close, cash reconciliation, and investor reporting. You will provide guidance to team members by setting priorities and resolving any issues that may present themselves.

Key responsibilities: Become familiar with the underlying businesses and understand Internal/External software applications like Investran to effectively diagnose and resolve user issues. Implementing a combination of automation/process change to lower the risk associated with manual data entry. Inputting, maintaining, and reconciling static data across various applications.

Gathering sufficient information from the end users to prioritise critical issues. Understanding users support needs and providing the best possible solution available, while maintaining open communication with them. Identifying risks, recurring problems, potential improvements and recommending fixes or changes to processes.

Collaborate with the broader team (development and users) to find acceptable solutions to problems. Working with end users to relay information around bugs and enhancements to the product team. Providing prompt and high-quality support within the predetermined SLA.

Creating knowledge-based documentation for the Internal team. Creating Self-Serve articles for the user to reduce support. Responsible for providing end-to-end support for enterprise applications across the firm.

Qualifications: Major in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, MBA, or any other applicable technical degree 1-2 years of experience in Data Analytics/Application support/Fund Accounting Support or a similar techno-functional support role. Availability to work on weekends Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel is must. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Inquisitive and should be able to demonstrate passion to learn and grow. Must be reliable and detail-oriented. Propensity to fix the critical problems.

Collaborates well with the team members to land with the best solution. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Flexibility to work in different shifts (including the night shift) A strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Mandatory Skills: SQL, Excel & Fund Accounting.
