Position: Data Analyst

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our global IT organization, supporting the North America Region with additional global focus. This role will be responsible for gathering data and reporting requirements, understanding our complex datasets, and developing robust, insightful reports and dashboards, primarily using Microsoft Power BI to support business data reporting needs.

Success in this role is driven by strong Power BI development skills, business partnership, communication, and problem-solving ability. Candidates who have demonstrated ownership of reporting solutions and stakeholder relationships are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with business stakeholders across various departments to understand their reporting needs, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and analytical requirements.
  • Translate vague business questions into clear, measurable, and testable analytical requirements.
  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to meet specific business needs.
  • Ensure reports are user-friendly, accurate, and provide actionable insights.

Data Analysis & Modeling:

  • Work with large, complex datasets to understand data structures, quality, and lineage.
  • Develop and optimize DAX measures (in Power BI) to support report logic.

Maintenance & Optimization:

  • Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing reports and dashboards, ensuring data freshness and accuracy.
  • Proactively monitor report usage and performance, identifying opportunities for consolidation, simplification, and performance tuning.

Communication & Training:

  • Present analytical findings and reports to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to use the developed dashboards and reports effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Solid of hands-on experience in a Data Analyst, BI Developer, or similar role, with demonstrated ownership of Power BI reporting solutions
  • Strong proficiency in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, including DAX measures and complex calculations, with proficiency in Tableau a plus
  • Very solid computer proficiency, including ERP systems, Excel, and other Microsoft Office software
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or cloud-based analytics platforms preferred
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying, manipulating, and analyzing data a plus

Skills Required:

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage a vast array of data and information
  • Proven ability to interact directly with business users and successfully gather reporting requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (required), with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize and deliver results without daily supervision
