Data Analyst

Job Description Job Description Client is looking for a self-motivated Data Analytics, Quality, and Process Engineer who is responsible for, but not limited to: procedure documentation, efficiency assessments (process capability, cycle-time, downtime data with impact categorization, and FTC monitoring); DFSS/DMAIC project execution; and implementation of lean process methodologies, continuous quality-improvement strategies, and autonomous mitigation/prevention of test issues aimed at both quality improvements and cost reductions. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university. Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in defining and/or applying process improvement techniques for Key Performance Indicators (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale) Experience with full process quality deployment and optimization in a high-paced production or test environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience with engineering standard measurement techniques and tools (MS Office Suite, Minitab, SPC, distributions, etc.) Experienced with developing MS -Excel macros Proficiency with: DFSS/DMAIC/Six-Sigma and Root-cause analysis tools (PFMEA, 8D, 5S, Kaizen, Gage R&R, ANOVA, ISO-17025) Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science degree from an ABET accredited university. Experience in project management including MS Project. Strong facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills working with individuals and groups.

Demonstrated experience communicating effectively to senior level management a plus Proficiency with relational databases (i.e. DB2).
