The successful candidate is a curious, detail‑oriented problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity, eager to learn, and can translate data into clear, useful outputs for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
The opportunity: 12‑month work‑term beginning September 2026. Full‑time, paid internship: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hrs/week. First week at Geotab begins with 'GEO Launch' – a one‑week Employee Orientation.

Support data and analytics projects as directed by the supervisor, contributing to reporting, modeling, and data infrastructure work. Promote data‑driven decision‑making across the Customer Success team by translating data into clear, actionable outputs for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Provide leaders with data insights to support decisions and improve the consistency and usability of data across teams. What you'll bring to the role: Pursuing a degree in STEM, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study. Hands‑on experience with SQL – ability to write, read, and debug queries independently.
Exposure to Google BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse is a strong asset. Familiarity with Salesforce as a data source (report building, object structure) is an asset. Experience with data visualization tools such as Superset, Tableau, or Looker.
Proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data structuring. Strong analytical thinking – able to question data, spot anomalies, and communicate findings clearly. Strong written and verbal communication skills – you'll be sharing data outputs with non‑technical stakeholders.
