Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst / Data Governance Specialist with 7+ years of experience to drive data-driven decision-making and ensure robust data governance practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, SQL, data modeling, and governance frameworks, along with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights.
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support business decision-making.
• Perform data validation, profiling, and root cause analysis to improve data quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into analytical solutions.

Data Governance

• Define and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with data quality, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish data lineage, metadata management, and data stewardship practices.
• Monitor and improve data quality metrics and remediation processes.

SQL & Database Management

• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Optimize database performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Support ETL processes and ensure accurate data movement across systems.

Data Modeling

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define data architecture and schema designs.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and integrity of data models.
• Maintain documentation for data models, data dictionaries, and standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with cross-functional teams including business, IT, and data engineering.
• Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
