Data Analyst - Health, Principal

Your Role The Medicare Quality organization is recruiting for a Principal Analyst (P5) to support enterprise-level analytics within Medicare Quality, applying advanced statistical, modeling, and data engineering techniques to drive strategic decision support across HEDIS, Medicare Stars, CAHPS, clinical programs, and health equity initiatives. This role will play a critical part in synthesizing data, translating analytical findings into actionable insights, and supporting the operational performance of Medicare Quality programs. While this position partners closely with the Clinical Quality Analytics (CQA) team, it remains embedded within and directly aligned to the Medicare Quality organization.

This role is ideal for an experienced analyst who can operate with independence, manage moderately complex analytical work, interpret findings for business partners, and support cross‑functional quality workstreams with strong analytical rigor and thoughtful communication. The Principal Analyst will report directly to the Senior Director, Clinical Quality (Medicare Quality Leader).
