Data Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role will support the Enterprise Information Protection team by analyzing data sources, creating technical requirements, and scrubbing data from upstream source systems. The ideal candidate will work with both stakeholders and data development teams to understand data sources being loaded into a data warehouse and will help define KPIs and KRIs for program reporting. Responsibilities: Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools Work with stakeholders and data development teams to understand data sources Collaborate with other Data Analysts and Business Analysts to define KPIs and KRIs for reporting Requirements: 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst Adept at analyzing data sources, creating technical requirements, and scrubbing data from upstream source systems Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams Desired skills: Exposure to SQL and relational databases Proficiency in Python Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio Pay range up to $61.52 Hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
