Data Analyst Application Deadline : 26 April 2026 Department : Finance Employment Type : Full Time Location : Head Office - London, SE15 Reporting To : Head of Operations Compensation : £35,000 - £38,000 / year Description The Data Analyst will be responsible for pulling, translating, and reporting all dermatology services’ data, ensuring all reporting requirements are met and the clinics operate effectively through data-driven management. The role supports DMC’s service development across healthcare services and the organisation, enabling involvement in decisions affecting care delivery. Candidates will have proven experience collecting, analysing, and interpreting healthcare data, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Main Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Data Collection and Management: collect, clean, and organise healthcare data from electronic health records, administrative databases, and surveys. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security, adhering to NHS data governance and privacy policies. Data engineering to build pipelines through integration and APIs.

Set up and maintain automation for manual data jobs. Data Analysis: perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and insights; develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations; build and validate predictive models for patient demand and resource utilisation; work with the rostering team to schedule clinics; collaborate with clinical teams for early intervention and prevention. Workforce Analysis: analyse workforce requirements, productivity, and capacity; provide insightful reports to management.

Invoice Management: provide financial data for invoice approval; collaborate with finance to ensure proper allocation and client invoicing. Reporting and Presentation: develop and deliver contractual data requirements (RTT, SUS, KPI, wait‑list validation); build a data warehouse as a unified data layer; generate regular and ad‑hoc reports for stakeholders; present complex data analyses clearly; maintain dashboards for monthly operational reports. Data Quality Assurance: champion data quality initiatives; ensure accurate and reliable data input.

Collaboration: work with multidisciplinary teams (clinicians, researchers, IT) to address challenges and develop data‑driven solutions. Continuous Improvement: stay updated with analytics and healthcare technology advances; suggest process improvements and contribute best practices. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Essential Bachelor's degree of 2:2 or higher Proven experience in data analysis and coordination Azure cloud solution architecture experience SQL skills for building production queries Version control skills (GitHub) for managing data projects and CI/CD environments SQL Server migration skills Power BI / Tableau proficiency Data modelling skills Experience building a data warehouse as a unified data layer Project management skills Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities Passion for delivering high‑quality patient‑centred care Proficiency with cloud‑based office and collaboration tools (MS Office, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) Desirable Bachelor’s degree in healthcare data analysis, business administration, or a related field Knowledge of NHS regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements Experience using NHS IT software (SystmOne, EMIS, eRS) Knowledge of NHS data requirements such as SUS, PLCM, etc.
