We're seeking an experienced APS6 Data Analyst to join a Federal Government agency delivering high-impact data solutions that support critical national services.

• Technical Skills: SQL, Python, SAS and/or R, EDW, data pipelines, data modelling, Snowflake, SAS Viya and Microsoft Fabric/Power BI

We're seeking an experienced APS6 Data Analyst to join a Federal Government agency delivering high-impact data solutions that support critical national services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise data assets and data products.
• Analyse, profile and validate complex data from multiple sources.
• Translate business requirements into coded data transformations.
• Develop prototypes and new data products to support business outcomes.
• Perform data quality assessment, testing and defect remediation.
• Present technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to code quality, documentation standards and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Support junior team members and contribute to collaborative problem solving.

You'll ideally bring experience with:

• Extensive data analysis across large, complex datasets.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and one or more of Python, SAS or R.
• Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
• Data modelling, data pipelines and reporting platform architecture.
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Working independently while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Building strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:

• Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
• SAS Viya.
• Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• A willingness to learn new analytics platforms and emerging technologies.
