Data Analyst

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Financial Services team in London. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, hands‑on technical expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support data‑driven decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to support stakeholders Work with structured and unstructured data across multiple platforms Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accuracy Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders Support regulatory and financial reporting requirements within the organization Continuously improve data processes and analytical methodologies Required Skills & Experience 6–10 years of experience in data analysis within the Financial Services industry Strong hands‑on experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL is a MUST Experience working with large‑scale data processing and distributed systems like Hadoop. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) Solid understanding of financial data, products, and regulatory environments Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to non‑technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics techniques is a plus Key Attributes Analytical mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Proactive and results‑driven approach If you are passionate about leveraging data to drive financial insights and business performance, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
