D365 F&O Operations Functional Analyst

Assignment Details

• Location: Brazil preferred; travel required
• Work model: Primarily remote, with onsite travel approximately every two weeks; one visit to each location per month expected before go-live
• Contract: Initial 6-month freelance / contract assignment
• Start: Within the next two months
• Languages: Fluent Portuguese and English are mandatory
• Programme: D365 Finance & Operations Brazil localisation implementation for an end client
• Go-live: Target implementation on 1 January, followed by hypercare support

Responsibilities

• Support the D365 Finance & Operations implementation with a focus on Brazil localisation and operational processes.
• Configure and support D365 F&O processes covering sales orders, purchasing and purchase orders.
• Work with business users and production teams in Brazil to gather requirements, validate processes and support system readiness.
• Act as the functional link between US stakeholders and Brazilian production teams.
• Support functional design, system set-up, data validation, testing, user acceptance testing and go-live preparation.
• Identify and resolve functional issues relating to day-to-day operational processes.
• Support the 1 January implementation and provide post-go-live hypercare.
• Travel as required to work with local operational teams.
• Help ensure that local requirements are understood and reflected in the D365 F&O solution.

Essential Experience

• At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong functional experience across D365 F&O operations, including sales orders and purchase orders.
• Proven involvement in D365 F&O implementation, configuration, testing or go-live activities.
• Experience supporting business users in a production, manufacturing, supply chain or operational environment.
• Understanding of D365 Brazil localisation requirements.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across different countries, business functions and levels of technical understanding.
• Professional Portuguese and English language skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly within Brazil.

Desirable Experience

• Previous delivery experience on a D365 Finance & Operations Brazil localisation project.
• Experience supporting go-live, cutover and hypercare within a D365 F&O programme.
• Finance-process knowledge, particularly where operational transactions link to local fiscal or accounting requirements.
• Experience with Advanced Warehouse Management (AWM).
• Experience working with US stakeholders and operational teams in Latin America.
• Based in Brazil, ideally within practical travelling distance.
