We are seeking to recruit multiple Customer Services Specialist II positions to provide exceptional front-line customer service and administrative support to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Customer Services Specialist II serves as a key member of the University Advisement Center team and plays a critical role in supporting student success by coordinating office operations, managing communications, assisting with student processes, and contributing to a welcoming, efficient, and student-centered environment. A successful candidate for this position must demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, parents, and visitors seeking information and assistance.
Provide information regarding university policies, procedures, academic forms, advisement services, and campus resources.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing phone communications and respond to general inquiries.
Schedule appointments and assist with front desk operations for advising staff.
Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate purchasing requests as needed.
Coordinate conference room usage and maintain shared office spaces.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of student records in accordance with university policies.
Collaborate with UAC staff and university partners to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
:Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and two years of customer service, administrative or office experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Requirements:
Experience working in higher education, student affairs, enrollment management, academic advising, or other student-facing environments.
Experience providing customer service in a fast-paced office setting.
Experience supervising student workers, temporary staff, or volunteers.
Experience coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and preparing reports.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Experience working with student information systems, appointment scheduling platforms, or related technologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to follow up on issues through resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service.
