MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a globally recognised leader in travel insurance and assistance services, seeking confident and customer-focused Customer Service Consultants to join their Brisbane CBD Contact Centre team.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be part of a busy Contact Centre team supporting customers throughout their travel journeys. No two conversations will necessarily be the same, so you'll need to combine excellent customer service with empathy, problem-solving and strong attention to detail.

Your day to day will include:

• Handling inbound customer enquiries with professionalism and genuine empathy
• Assisting customers who may be experiencing stressful or unexpected situations, including breakdowns, vehicle support or insurance-related queries
• Navigating multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailRecording customer interactions accurately and maintaining high service standards

You'll bring:

• Previous call centre or phone-based customer service experience is highly regarded
• Confidence navigating multiple systems while speaking with customers
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Demonstrated empathy and the ability to handle sensitive, emotional or difficult conversations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
