Join our team as a CustomerService Officer at Banyule Leisure.
Are you a friendly, organised andcustomer-focused person who enjoys helping people feel welcome, informed andsupported? Banyule Leisure is looking for a Customer Service Officer to joinour team and help create positive experiences for our members, visitors andcommunity.
In this role, you’ll be one of thefirst points of contact for customers across Banyule Leisure. You’ll providehelpful information about programs, memberships, facilities and services,support day-to-day reception and café operations, and assist with bookings,payments, administration and general customer enquiries

- Welcomingcustomers and providing friendly, accurate and professional service.
- Respondingto enquiries and helping customers find the right programs, memberships,products and services.
- Processingbookings, payments, point-of-sale transactions and basic administration.
- Supportingreception, merchandise and café operations, including stock control andcoffee making.
- Keepingcustomer areas clean, tidy, well-presented and safe.
- Assistingwith programs, promotional activities and the general running of BanyuleLeisure facilities.
- Thursday6:00pm – 9:15pm
- Friday 3:30pm- 7:30pm
- Sunday12:00 noon - 4:15pm (alternating shift, 2nd Sunday of the fortnight)
- Sunday 7:15pm- 9:45pm (Women's only shift - required to enable Council to deliver culturallysafe programs. Only female applicants are eligible for this shift).

You will bring a positive,practical and community-minded approach, with the confidence to work in a busycustomer service environment. You’ll enjoy helping people, solving day-to-dayissues and working as part of a team to deliver a welcoming and reliableservice. You’ll have

- Strongcustomer service focus and ability to multitask in a busy and dynamicenvironment, without compromising service to customers.
- Excellentphone manner, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to discuss customer needs andidentify the best service for them within Banyule Leisure, includingwell-developed conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in customer service, membershipsales, cash handling and administration (desirable)
- Experience in the leisure facilityindustry (desirable)
What’s on offer
- A permanent parttime role with shifts available Wednesday to Sunday.
- $36.79 to $38.54 per hour plus super (depending on experience).
- Primary work location Ivanhoe Aquatic, and Olympic Leisure Centre.
- Consistency in shifts, working on a part time basis with thepotential to pick up extra shifts.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Level 2 First Aid (Apply First Aid).
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check(NCCHC)
- Pre-EmploymentMedical Check
- Workingwith children check
