Credit Admin Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead credit administration in a global banking environment, ensuring accurate security, collateral, and limit handling while driving control processes. You will oversee SLAs, support audits and property valuations, and contribute to process improvements. You will work closely with legal professionals and valuers to maintain robust credit packages and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review post-completion files for accuracy of limits, rates, collateral and fees
• Oversee perfection and registration of security documentation and complete security packages
• Manage SLAs across Credit Administration and Management & Control processes
• Handle limit inputs, updates, expiries, interest rate changes and bank/trade finance
• Maintain collateral, lien and insurance records and updates
• Process remediation, repayments, discharges, releases and lease consent requests
• Respond to auditor queries and requisitions
• Support property revaluations including index valuations
• Maintain/update procedures, guidelines and controls
• Coordinate appointment and management of solicitors and valuers
• Identify and contribute to ongoing process improvements
• Participate in Credit Administration projects and UAT

• 10+ years’ experience in Credit Administration within local banking; Buy-to-Let, residential/commercial property, SME banking and working capital facilities preferred
• Strong knowledge of credit documentation, security perfection, collateral management and property due diligence
• Experience in risk mitigation, controls and process management
• Understanding of legal conveyancing is advantageous
• Proficient in spreadsheets and database systems
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, valuations and collateral requirements
