Morecrofts Solicitors are looking to appoint an experienced Court of Protection Manager (Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive (3+ PQE) to join our growing Private Client team. This is a senior, varied role within a busy and supportive department, offering real scope to develop and lead Court of Protection work while continuing to build strong client relationships. The Role This position will involve day-to-day management of a diverse Court of Protection and Private Client caseload, alongside supervising and supporting a dedicated team.
You will work closely with clients, external agencies, and internal colleagues to deliver a high-quality service. Hybrid working available. Key responsibilities include: Managing a Court of Protection and Private Client caseload Supervising a team handling Court of Protection matters Advising and updating clients, families, and professional deputies Liaising with Courts, the Probate Registry, HM Land Registry, HMRC, experts, and external agencies Dealing with estate administration and Court of Protection paperwork Handling client enquiries both in person and remotely Supporting the development of new work and maintaining existing business relationships Working with the marketing team to produce blogs and content for Private Client services About You You will be a confident and proactive practitioner with strong technical knowledge and leadership capability. 3+ yearsβ experience dealing with Court of Protection matters Experience advising HNW clients on Probate, Wills, Trusts, Estate and Tax Planning, and services for the elderly Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members Strong organisational and time management skills Experience using Case Management Systems and Laserforms Good working knowledge of Excel Experience of property work Driving licence and access to a car Why Join Morecrofts?
