Job Summary

We are looking for a Cost Accountant & MIS Executive with 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing company. The role involves product costing, MIS reporting, inventory analysis, budgeting, and cost monitoring to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare product-wise and process-wise costing.
• Calculate material, labour, overhead, and manufacturing costs.
• Analyse standard cost vs. actual cost and identify variances.
• Monitor production costs and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
• Create reports on sales, profitability, inventory, production, purchases, and budgets.
• Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Analyse material consumption, BOM, wastage, and production variances.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis.
• Prepare Excel dashboards and maintain accurate reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Sales, and Accounts teams.

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of Cost Accounting and manufacturing costing.
• Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dashboards).
• Knowledge of ERP or accounting software.
• Understanding of inventory, BOM, production, and purchase processes.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter.
• Candidates with a Cost & Management Accounting background will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

• 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing company.
• Experience in engineering, HVAC, fabrication, sheet metal, or similar industries is preferred.
• Experience in product costing and MIS reporting will be an added advantage.
