A highly regarded, nationally integrated transactions practice is seeking a talented Corporate/M&A Attorney (4–8 years’ experience) to join its growing team. This is a standout opportunity for a commercially minded deal lawyer ready to take ownership of sophisticated transactions and play a central role in driving deals forward.
This role is ideally suited to a “deal runner” who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident leading transactions with minimal supervision. You will work on a broad range of U.S. and cross-border M&A matters, advising both public and private companies as well as private equity sponsors on high‑value, complex transactions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day‑to‑day execution of M&A transactions from inception through closing
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, counterparties, and deal teams
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents with precision and commercial insight
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate multi‑disciplinary workstreams
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, ensuring high‑quality deliverables
- Identify risks and proactively resolve issues to maintain deal momentum
What You Bring
- 4–8 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong focus on M&A
- Demonstrated ability to lead domestic and cross‑border transactions
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating principal deal documents
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail
- Proven experience mentoring junior lawyers and overseeing delegated work
- Exposure to a range of industries is advantageous

Requirements
- JD from an ABA‑accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing (or ability to gain admission in the relevant jurisdiction)
- Previous experience working in a law firm is required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive compensation range: $290,000 – $420,000 (commensurate with experience)
