Position: Manager/Sr. Manager โ Investigations
Location: Noida. (Travel as required)
Reporting to: Head โ Risk and Vigilance
Role Purpose: To lead and conduct impartial, timely, and confidential investigations into fraud, corruption, employee misconduct, ethics violations, asset misappropriation, procurement irregularities, information security incidents, and other organizational risks. The role is responsible for investigating cases, writing and reviewing investigation reports, collecting and preserving evidence, identifying root causes, recommending disciplinary and control actions, and strengthening the organization's governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigations: Lead end-to-end investigations into fraud, financial irregularities, employee misconduct, policy violations, and ethical concerns. Assess and prioritize complaints received through various sources. Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and accused employees using structured interviewing techniques. Analyze and manage documentary, financial, digital, and physical evidence. Prepare fact-based investigation reports. Maintain a centralized tracker. Present findings to senior management.
- Fraud Risk &Prevention: Identify fraud opportunities and control weaknesses. Recommend preventive and detective controls. Support implementation of anti-fraud policies and awareness initiatives
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with HR, Legal, IT, Finance, Procurement, Information Security, and Business Heads. Coordinate with external investigators, forensic experts, law enforcement agencies, and legal counsel when required. Assist management during disciplinary proceedings.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain investigation registers and case management records. Track investigation timelines and closure status. Develop dashboards and MIS for management reporting. Ensure proper documentation and secure archival of investigation files.
- Compliance: Ensure investigations comply with applicable laws and organizational policies. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of evidence and investigation records.
