Mercy Community is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Cook to join our friendly and dedicated team at Bethany. In this In this role, you’ll make a real difference every day by delivering high-quality hospitality and support services that enhance the wellbeing of our residents. We are seeking a passionate and positive individual who values teamwork, communication, and integrity.

You are adaptable, accountable, and results focused, with strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to manage priorities effectively.

What you’ll do

• Prepare meals according to approved menus and dietary requirements
• Ensure safe food handling and hygiene practices are maintained.
• Assist with kitchen operations including food storage and preparation

To be successful you will possess:

Experience in commercial cooking

Knowledge of food safety practices

Ability to obtain all legislatively required personal history screening

• Qualification in commercial cookery (Desirable)
• Experience working in aged care kitchens (Desirable)
