Position Overview: As a Controls Engineer at Stella Contracting, Inc, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure that our projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop control systems for construction projects, including electrical, mechanical, and automation systems - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to develop project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations - Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of control systems - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process - Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of control systems to ensure optimal performance - Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in control system technology - Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and manuals - Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on control system design and implementation - Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Minimum 3 years of experience in control system design and implementation, preferably in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of control system principles, PLC programming, and HMI design - Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design software - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Willingness to travel to project sites as needed - Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations is an asset We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional growth and development - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Exposure to a wide range of challenging projects - Commitment to safety and quality Join our team at Stella Contracting, Inc and be a part of our success in delivering exceptional construction solutions to our clients.
