Controls Engineer

Job Descriptions: Must be onsite at Springfield, OH Controls Engineer with STRONG AutoCad BSEE or EET Electrical Engineering Technology (Associates Degree.) Willing to learn electrical Understanding common voltages Willing to learn 3 phase and from the bus duct down. Desired Skills: • HIGHLY DESIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or at least 4 years electrical engineering experience • Positive Attitude, Ethics, and International Values which support our company's values and a healthy, high performance culture • Design and develop customized controls • Experience with Medium or High voltage distribution gear • Ability to work overtime • Ability to work with a diverse unionized workforce • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Auto-Cad, A/B AI software, ABB robots) • HMW/Landis grinder experience • Experience with servos, stepper motors, VFD's, safety relays, light curtains and guard locking devices • Experience in working with equipment and electrical component suppliers • High energy level and ability to energize and excite others • Enthusiastic about getting a job done • Ability to bring projects to a clean conclusion • Update obsolete machine controls to work in an automated environment • Troubleshoot electronics to component level • Provide technical support for the onsite electricians • Excellent troubleshooter 2-5 years of experience with PLC's • 2 years experience with CAD Systems (AutoCAD preferred) • At least 2 years experience in Project Management • Develop wiring and interconnection diagrams for project installation • Create, edit and install PLC ladder logic for Allen Bradley PLC, RSLogix 5000/500/5, Control logix, Flexlogix, compact logix, and/or Modicon platforms • Experience with HMI's -RSview, FactoryTalkView, ME/SE, Panelbuilder 32 and Panelviews • Install electrical systems in accordance with NEC & NFPA
