This associate will contribute to the design and development of control systems for pharmacy automation equipment, including electrical control system design, implementation, and debugging using common engineering tools such as CAD and PLC programming software. The position also supports technical assistance for the organization; issues not resolved by Service are escalated to this role. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of ARxIUM products that require control systems Commission new equipment, including mechanical adjustments, dimensional quality tuning, control design/modifications, coordinate contractors, and perform continuous kaizen Create and develop PLC, HMI, Robot, and control programs during new equipment commissioning and modifications; prepare Engineering Change Instructions (ECIs) Create documentation including product drawings, electrical schematics, and drawings Perform project management duties for the controls portion of development projects Analyze and diagnose identified issues using problem‑solving techniques; support resolution and engage appropriate resources Identify and address support situations that could jeopardize customer satisfaction; analyze problem trends at customer sites and report findings Provide controls engineering support to customer support team and clients during regular business hours and, if required, after hours Review escalated service cases, ensure documentation, and identify problem trends Adhere to agreed “Definition of Doneness” Continuously engage in education, training, and self‑development opportunities Perform related duties as assigned Competencies Knowledge and understanding of business principles, processes, and technology Sound project management skills with experience organizing, planning, and executing large‑scale projects Analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving skills to evaluate business problems and identify solutions Interpersonal skills and relationship building Effective oral and written communication Strong group presentation skills Organizational skills with attention to detail Computer literacy and ability to operate hardware and software Demonstrated capability with Allen‑Bradley controls architecture Demonstrated capability with CAD applications including AutoCAD Engineering analysis skills, both hand calculations and computer‑based UL508A experience is a plus Qualifications Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Control Systems Engineering; a four‑year engineering degree required. On‑the‑job experience may substitute for degree. Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience, including participation as a key team member in one or more large projects. Hybrid position – requires reliable high‑speed internet connection for remote work.
