Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join a well-established Glass Manufacturing organisationbased in Ormskirk, West Lancashire on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity to jointhe Architectural Engineering team who cover all aspects of projects from feasibility, specification, design and procurement to installation and commissioning.
Salary: Competitive package based on experience, including 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, pension and more.
Location: The ideal candidate will be located in Ormskirk or surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver control and instrumentation engineering projects from design through commissioning.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings and project documentation.
- Manage equipment procurement, installation and contractor activities.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget and schedule requirements.
- Provide technical support and drive continuous improvement.
- Degree (minimum 2:1) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng Status.
- Experience in control systems, instrumentation and project delivery.
- Knowledge of engineering standards and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organisationalskills.
