Department Summary The Contracts team manages the company’s contractual relationships and ensures compliance with customer requirements, legal standards, and company policies throughout the contract lifecycle. The team partners closely with Leadership, Engineering, Program Management, Estimating, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to support proposal development, risk assessment, contract negotiation, and execution of aerospace and defense manufacturing programs. Roles & Responsibilities Provide guidance to senior leadership on contractual risks, obligations, and interpretation of contract terms and conditions Lead and mentor a team of contract professionals responsible for contract administration and proposal support Guide the team in all facets of contract administration including compliance with contractual requirements and interpretation of contract for program and functional leadership Draft and oversee formal contractual correspondence and coordinate submittals with internal stakeholders Lead contract execution, modifications, and contract lifecycle management activities Serve as the primary interface with customers on contractual matters and negotiations Lead proposal preparation activities for the contracts team and partner closely with Estimating from proposal kickoff through submission Facilitate the proposal review process and ensure internal reviews are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures Partner with Estimating to prepare briefings and materials for internal proposal reviews Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies to address complex issues Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer expectations Ensure contracts are executable and aligned with operational commitments Communicate contract terms, obligations, and requirements clearly across the organization Manage contract administration activities throughout the entire contract lifecycle Foster strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders and customers Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 8 or more years of professional experience or a Master’s degree with 6 or more years of experience Additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience in contract administration or contract management within aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industries Familiarity with federal contracting requirements and regulations, including FAR and DFARS Experience supporting proposal development and contract negotiations Experience ensuring compliance with customer requirements, contractual terms, ITAR/EAR regulations, and internal policies Experience working in manufacturing environments and understanding cost and schedule estimating principles Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and terminology Experience with SAP or other ERP systems Advanced Excel skills for proposal development and presentation Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers Applicants must be a U.S.

Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) due to ITAR and EAR regulations Position may require obtaining a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required; Janicki will assist in obtaining clearance once employed Additional Qualifications Experience leading contracts teams or managing complex contract portfolios Experience negotiating aerospace or defense manufacturing contracts Experience supporting programs from proposal through delivery Wage and Benefits Wage range: $126,708 – $140,000 plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits.
