This is a contract Role & we use a global payroll partner to manage payroll for all contract opportunities with us. Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months (Minimum) Level: Mid-Level (CCNP equivalent) Role Overview We are seeking five experienced Network Engineers to support a high-priority enterprise company separation.

Following a restructuring of our deployment team, we need dedicated resources to handle both the Build and Operations phases of the network split. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity and infrastructure integrity as the organizations decouple. Key Responsibilities Deployment & Migratio n: Execute network separation tasks, focusing on Cisco-centric environment s.

Routing & Switchin g: Configure and maintain OSPF and BGP protocols across enterprise-scale networks SD-WAN Integratio n: Deploy and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions in conjunction with campus switching environments Hardware Managemen t: Hands-on work with Cisco Campus Switching (IOS XE) platform Monitoring & Optimizatio n: Utilize ThousandEyes and SolarWinds to monitor network health, troubleshoot latency, and ensure performance during the transitios Operational Suppor t: Balance new "Build" requirements with ongoing "Ops" support to ensure zero downtime during the split. Site Trave l: Travel to physical sites as required to oversee hardware deployment or local cutovers. Required Skills & Qualifications Experienc e: 8+ years of dedicated experience with Cisco technologies in a large-scale Enterprise environmen Certificatio n: CCNP (Enterprise/Routing & Switching) or equivalent demonstrable knowledge Protocol s: Deep technical proficiency i n OS PF an d B GP Platform s: Extensive experience wit h Cisco IOS XE an d Cisco SD-W AN Monitoring Tool s: Proficiency i n ThousandEy es an d SolarWin ds Deployment Experienc e: Proven track record of supporting large-scale network migrations or corporate divestitures.

Additional Mid-Level Skills for Deployment Support. To excel in this specific separation project, candidates should also possess IP Address Management (IPAM ): Experience managing IP schema changes and subnet migrations common in company splits Firewall & Security Transitio n: Basic understanding of ASA or Firepower (FTD) to ensure security policies remain intact during the move. Circuit Provisionin g: Experience coordinating with ISPs for new circuit handoffs or porting existing service Documentatio n: High proficiency in Visio or Lucidchart to document "As-Is" and "To-Be" network states Soft Skill s: Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work under pressure during critical "cutover" window
