Job Description Job Description Position Title: Construction Project Manager Location: Onsite | San Diego, CA Compensation: $110,000 – $150,000 Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary: A growing commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead renovation, tenant-improvement, and ground-up projects across multiple states. This role oversees projects from preconstruction through close-out, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and aligned with high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized construction professional who can manage multiple projects while coordinating closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of renovation, tenant improvement, and ground-up construction projects Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls Supervise site superintendents and support project engineers Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers across multiple job sites Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure project accuracy and constructability Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontract agreements Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and internal teams Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and quality expectations Oversee project close-out including punch lists and final documentation Qualifications: 5+ years of construction project management experience Experience managing ground-up and residential or commercial renovation projects Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost management Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and travel periodically as needed Salary & Benefits: Base salary: $110,000 – $150,000 Full-time exempt position Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) retirement plan Career growth within a fast-growing construction organization Powered by JazzHR rE3v5ekaiY
