Construction Manager
Cosmo Cabinets
Job Description
Who We Are
Cosmo Cabinets is a family-owned American manufacturer of kitchen cabinets, built in our 350,000-sq-ft plant in Eatonton, Georgia. We produce for multi-family, senior, and student housing projects across the country, and we're KCMA, NGBS, and BABA-Certified. When a general contractor needs 200 kitchens delivered and installed on schedule, we make it happen.

The Job
You'll own the field side of our projects — the supply and installation of cabinets and countertops on multi-family new-construction jobs, typically 50 to 500 units each. At any given time, you'll be running 6–8 projects in different stages, from first field measure to final punch.
This is a field-based role. You'll spend most of your time on jobsites around the Southeast, handle your desk work from home, and come into our Atlanta office for meetings as needed.
If you'd rather walk a slab than sit in a cubicle, this is your kind of job.
What You'll Own
- Run projects end to end. Manage each job from inception through delivery and installation — you're the single point of accountability for getting kitchens in on time.
- Field measure. Verify site dimensions before anything ships. Catch the problems on the slab, not on the loading dock.
- QC drawings. Review and quality-check all submittals and shop drawings before they go to the client.
- Coordinate trades. Work directly with general contractors, superintendents, and other trades onsite so our installs land clean the first time.
- Manage subcontractors. Own the cabinet and installation subcontracts — scopes, schedules, performance, and change authorizations.
- Keep material moving.
Schedule and track deliveries from our Eatonton plant so the jobsite never waits on us.
- Handle the paperwork that matters. Write RFIs and change orders, and process customer billings accurately and on time.
- Communicate like a pro. Keep customers, the plant, vendors, and subs informed — direct, professional, and timely.
Supervisory Responsibility
You'll direct the project-related activities of your project team members — installers, subs, and support staff assigned to your jobs.
What You Must Bring
- 5+ years of experience in kitchen cabinets, millwork, or a similar construction trade
- Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills — jobsites don't run themselves
- Demonstrated leadership; you can hold subs and schedules accountable
- Self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be told
- Ability to travel extensively in the Southeast US by car (valid driver's license required)
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree
- Solid MS Excel skills
- Comfortable with online and mobile tools — project photos, punch lists, and schedules live on your phone, not a clipboard
Why Cosmo
Real scale, family values. We run one of the largest cabinet plants in the Southeast, but you'll never be more than a phone call away from ownership.
Growing markets. Multi-family, senior, and student housing keep building — and we keep shipping.
Your projects, your wins. You run your jobs. When a 400-unit project closes out clean, that's yours.
