Concrete Mixer Driver

Position Description The concrete mixer driver will be responsible for hauling and delivering concrete to customers safely and efficiently. A valid CDL Class B license is required. Essential Functions: The following list is intended to be exemplary of the physical demands of the position, however it is not exhaustive of all day-to-day functions.

The incumbent will be required to perform any or all of the following in a given day or week: Adheres to all safety rules and works safely on all jobs. Ability to work with other members of the crew and communicate effectively and efficiently. Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Report immediately to dispatcher any damage to the equipment or safety hazards or accidents. Ability to think independently, assess situations and make safe choices based on jobsite observations/ situations is critical Must be able to consistently lift and/or manipulate with push/pull force /- 50 pounds; Flexibility with regard to schedule working extended hours, nights, and holidays when business needs dictate. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to consistently lift, carry, and manipulate objects requiring a push/pull force of up to 50 pounds. Prior concrete mixer experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to work as part of a team and ability to pass a physical and drug screen. Must have a valid driver's licenses Class B. Must possess sound judgment ability Ability to analyze MSDS sheets.

The employee must be able to push levers forward and backwards. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, stoop, bend, twist, kneel and crouch. Employees may sit for an hour or more at a time.
