Company Accountant

Job DescriptionCompany Accountant Morgan McKinley are delighted to be workign with a fast-growing specialist telecommunications company who are seeking an experienced Company Accountant to take ownership of its day-to-day finance function. This is a standalone role with direct exposure to senior management, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, compliance and financial reporting. Key responsibilities: Manage AP and AR, including invoicing, collections and supplier payments Complete bank reconciliations and month-end processes Prepare VAT, PRSI and other statutory returns Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Monitor revenue, cash flow, KPIs and financial performance Analyse and explain variances Monitor costs, pricing and gross margins Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end audit Maintain accurate financial records using Xero Ideal candidate: Relevant accounting/finance qualification or equivalent experience Strong experience across AP and AR Hands-on Xero experience is essential Good knowledge of reconciliations and Irish statutory compliance Strong analytical and commercial awareness Highly organised, accurate and able to work independently TPBN1_IJ
