Communications Manager Looking for a role where you can shape how an organisation communicates, influence how its voice is heard, and support work that makes a real difference across the voluntary and community sector? Closing date extended to Friday, 1 May 2026 NICVA is entering a new phase, with a new five-year strategy and a clear focus on strengthening how we communicate our impact, engage our members, and influence decision-makers. We are recruiting a Communications Manager (maternity cover) to lead and coordinate this work.
You will lead NICVAs communications activity, ensuring our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our strategic priorities. This includes overseeing content across digital and traditional channels, supporting engagement with media and stakeholders, and helping us tell the story of the sector and the difference it makes. The role spans several key areas: Managing content across website, social media, newsletters and publications Supporting media engagement and coordinating responses to media enquiries Leading digital communications and supporting the ongoing development of NICVAs website Supporting communications for events, campaigns, and organisational priorities Using data and insight to review and improve communications activity You will work closely with the Director of Policy & Insight, senior management team, and colleagues across the organisation to ensure communications supports delivery and impact.
Salary: £39,152 per annum (NICVA Grade H) Contract: Fixed-term for 12 months (maternity cover), full-time (35 hours per week) Whats in it for you?
