Commissioning Engineer

Location Chicago, IL Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Qualifications 10-15 years of commissioning experience with proven project management skills (technical, financial, planning, staffing, client management, execution, reporting, closeout).

Leadership experience and ability to counsel clients and project teams through the commissioning process. Ability to secure and manage technical resources and execute projects per plans, specifications, and schedules. Required Markets Healthcare Higher Education Science & Technology Transportation Critical Environments (data centers, laboratories, pharmacies, operating rooms, etc.) Responsibilities Business development, by prospecting for commissioning opportunities & new pursuits.

Estimating fees, issuing proposals, closing business, and executing the project. Assist in filling positions required to accomplish the work. Develop, maintain, and publish commissioning documents on commissioning software platforms and in project documentation systems such as Procore and Building Connected.

Manage resources to successfully execute new and existing business. Complete work backlog while managing to exceed client expectations. Travel frequently - about 75% of the time in- and out-of-state.
