CT19 has partnered with an innovative advanced materials technology business who is seeking a Commercialisation Manager to support the growth and commercial adoption of its advanced materials solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling deep-tech organisation working with major industrial partners across sectors including aerospace, defence, automotive, and advanced manufacturing. Commercialisation Manager This position sits between technical delivery and commercial growth, acting as a key interface between customers, development teams, and external project partners.
The successful candidate will combine strong composites or materials expertise with commercial awareness and relationship-building capability. You will help customers identify suitable applications for advanced material products while supporting collaborative development programmes and strategic partnerships. The role would suit someone comfortable operating in a fast-moving technology business where adaptability, initiative, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Commercialisation Manager Responsibilities Develop and manage relationships with prospective customers across advanced manufacturing and composites markets Lead technical discussions relating to material applications, product integration, and qualification requirements Translate customer requirements into actionable technical feedback for internal engineering and product teams Support the customer journey from initial engagement through to commercial delivery Identify and support collaborative R&D and innovation partnerships with industrial and academic stakeholders Contribute to the development of grant-funded innovation projects and consortium opportunities Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and developments within sustainable materials and composites sectors Collaborate with internal commercial and marketing functions to align messaging with technology and product roadmaps Commercialisation Manager Experience Background in composites, advanced materials, polymers, or related manufacturing technologies Experience in a customer-facing, commercial, applications engineering, or technical business development role Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience supporting collaborative innovation or grant-funded projects Comfortable working within a growing, evolving technology business environment Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills Desirable Experience Existing network within aerospace, automotive, defence, or industrial manufacturing sectors Experience contributing to funding applications or collaborative R&D proposals Familiarity with composite material formats and processing methods Understanding of advanced material recovery or circular manufacturing technologies Whatβs on Offer Opportunity to join a rapidly growing advanced materials business Exposure to cutting-edge sustainable manufacturing technologies Collaborative and mission-driven team environment Hybrid working flexibility Generous holiday allowance and benefits package Career growth within an expanding commercial function
