Confidential Employer. What you will do Serve as lead counsel on commercial leasing transactions for landlord clients across office, retail, and industrial asset classes Draft and negotiate commercial leases, letters of intent, work letters, assignment and transfer documents, lender subordination agreements, and SNDAs Advise clients on market lease terms, risk considerations, and deal structure from LOI through execution Manage transactions independently while maintaining direct client relationships Coordinate with brokers, property managers, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction lifecycle Collaborate with partners and provide mentorship or oversight to junior attorneys as appropriate Qualifications JD from an accredited law school 6+ years of commercial real estate leasing experience Active bar admission in Georgia (Atlanta applicants) or Maryland (Bethesda applicants) Experience with office, retail, and/or industrial lease transactions Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills Excellent communication and client management abilities Highly organized โ€” able to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously Preferred: experience representing landlords; exposure to multi-asset or portfolio leasing Why you will love working here A firm that genuinely values its attorneys โ€” low turnover and high morale are not talking points here, they are the reality Real client-facing responsibility and partnership-level visibility from day one A collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that encourages ownership and initiative Strong benefits: medical and dental insurance, 401(k) with employer contribution, generous PTO, and more Two established office locations with strong local market presence JPC-1270 Benefits: Dental insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance
